Responsibilities
- Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and security updates during weekend shifts.
- Monitor server health and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Troubleshoot complex technical incidents and provide Level 3 support to internal teams.
- Ensure the integrity and security of all data backups and disaster recovery protocols.
- Collaborate with the on-call support team to escalate critical tickets effectively.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions in our knowledge base.
- Conduct security audits and compliance checks to meet industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the weekend shift.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
