Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, patching, and optimization of our AWS and on-premise Linux infrastructure during weekend windows.
- Execute and monitor CI/CD pipelines to ensure zero-downtime deployments for production releases.
- Investigate and resolve critical system alerts, outages, and performance bottlenecks outside of business hours.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash) to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the on-call team during handover periods to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration.
- Strong proficiency with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and Docker/Kubernetes orchestration.
- Expert knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
