Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of robust system architectures for the 2026 product roadmap, ensuring scalability and high availability.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps, identifying technical debt and future-proofing our infrastructure.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence within the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Designers to define technical feasibility and drive product delivery.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and implement cutting-edge optimizations to handle exponential growth.
- Technical Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing interfaces, Edge IoT) to integrate into our core stack.
- Crisis Management: Lead incident response and resolution for critical production issues with a focus on rapid recovery and blameless post-mortems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a technical leadership or architectural role.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Java, and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing high-performing distributed teams and delivering complex projects on time.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to navigate ambiguity and solve unstructured technical problems.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
