Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of systems specifically aligned with the 2026 Vision roadmap.
- Design scalable microservices and distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of AI researchers and data scientists to translate research into production-ready solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for code quality, security, and performance.
- Conduct rigorous technical debt reviews and refactor legacy systems to ensure long-term viability.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for system reliability and uptime.
- Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies (e.g., quantum computing interfaces, edge AI) for integration by 2026.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior Architect or Lead Engineer role.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Go, Rust, or Java.
- Strong background in Machine Learning operations (MLOps) and large-scale data pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and drive projects from concept to deployment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
