Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Develop and articulate a comprehensive long-term technological roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic goals and market foresight.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Oversee cross-functional research projects focusing on emerging technologies, including generative AI, next-gen computing, and bio-digital interfaces.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex future-tech concepts to diverse stakeholders, including board members, investors, and engineering teams, to secure buy-in and resources.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis of global tech trends to identify white space opportunities and potential threats to market leadership.
- Talent Acquisition: Recruit and mentor world-class talent, fostering a culture of innovation and forward-thinking problem-solving.
- Patent & IP Strategy: Lead the identification, filing, and management of intellectual property related to cutting-edge innovations.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a senior leadership role within the tech industry, with at least 5 years in strategic planning or R&D management.
- Strategic Foresight: Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on emerging market trends and disruptive technologies.
