Responsibilities
- Monitor system health and performance metrics for all production environments 24/7.
- Execute and manage weekend maintenance windows and deployments with zero downtime.
- Lead incident response efforts for critical outages and perform root cause analysis.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex Linux server issues.
- Collaborate with the QA team to validate patches and fixes.
- Ensure strict compliance with security protocols and data backup procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in System Administration or DevOps roles.
- Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during shifts.
