Job Description
We are looking for a world-class Senior Web3 Engineer to join our elite team in San Francisco. As a pioneer in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space, Nebula Protocol is building the infrastructure that powers the next generation of the internet.
In this role, you will take ownership of our core smart contract architecture, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency for millions of users. You will work closely with our design and product teams to bridge the gap between complex blockchain mechanics and intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and audit secure smart contracts using Solidity and Rust.
- Optimize smart contract gas usage and improve overall system efficiency.
- Integrate off-chain data (Oracles) with on-chain logic for complex DeFi applications.
- Conduct rigorous security audits and implement best practices for vulnerability mitigation.
- Mentor junior developers and establish coding standards within the engineering team.
- Collaborate with product managers to define technical roadmaps and feature specifications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on Web3 or Blockchain development.
- Deep expertise in Solidity, Rust, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of blockchain consensus mechanisms, tokenomics, and cryptographic principles.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry) and security tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
