Job Description
Are you ready to architect the decentralized web of tomorrow?
Nexus Future Labs is pioneering the next generation of blockchain infrastructure. We are seeking a visionary Senior Web3 Architect to help us define the technological roadmap leading up to 2026 and beyond. If you are passionate about building scalable, secure, and interoperable systems that will power the global economy of the future, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge cryptographic research and practical, high-performance application deployment. You will be instrumental in deploying Layer 2 solutions, implementing cross-chain protocols, and integrating AI-driven data streams into our decentralized ecosystem.
Why Join Us?
- Work on infrastructure that will define the next era of the internet.
- Competitive compensation and equity package.
- Flexible remote-first culture with a hub in San Francisco.
- Access to the latest tools in zero-knowledge proofs and interoperability.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement highly scalable decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, and Go.
- Protocol Engineering: Develop and maintain core blockchain protocols, focusing on Layer 2 scaling solutions and cross-chain interoperability.
- Security & Auditing: Lead security reviews and conduct rigorous audits of smart contracts to prevent vulnerabilities and ensure asset safety.
- Future-Proofing: Research and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., ZK-Rollups, Modular Blockchains) to prepare our platform for the 2026 market landscape.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high technical standards across the engineering team.
- Integration: Integrate complex off-chain data (via AI/ML) with on-chain verification mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years specifically in Blockchain/Web3 development.
- Languages: Proficiency in TypeScript, Solidity, Rust, or Go.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryptographic principles, consensus mechanisms (PoS/PoW), and distributed systems.
- Architecture: Experience designing systems for high throughput and low latency.
- Security: Familiarity with smart contract security best practices and tools like MythX or Slither.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
