In this role, you will own the technical architecture of our client's digital ecosystems, ensuring maximum visibility and performance in search engines. You bridge the gap between engineering and marketing, driving organic growth through rigorous technical audits and innovative optimization strategies.
What You'll Do:
• Lead comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl, index, and rendering issues.
• Optimize site architecture, URL structures, and internal linking for search engine efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers to implement Schema markup, structured data, and improve Core Web Vitals scores.
• Monitor search algorithm updates and adjust strategies to maintain top-ranking positions.
• Manage site migrations and technical overhauls with zero downtime or ranking loss.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth technical audits using tools like Google Search Console and Screaming Frog.
- Implement and maintain JSON-LD schema markup to enhance rich snippets and local SEO visibility.
- Analyze site speed and performance, working with frontend teams to optimize load times.
- Review and manage HTTP status codes, robots.txt files, and canonicalization strategies.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve domain authority and backlink profiles.
- Report on technical performance metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic traffic.
- Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
- Experience with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Strapi, or WordPress).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and technical logs.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical teams.
