As the Technical SEO Lead, you will bridge the gap between creative strategy and engineering execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, and rendering issues.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and development teams to implement schema markup, AMP, and Core Web Vitals optimizations.
- Optimize site architecture and internal linking structures to maximize crawl budget and topical authority.
- Monitor and analyze Search Console data to proactively identify ranking drops and traffic anomalies.
- Develop and maintain an SEO-focused content strategy in collaboration with the editorial team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of third-party SEO tools and reporting dashboards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in Technical SEO, ideally within a fast-paced agency or high-growth startup environment.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side technologies (PHP, Python, or Node.js).
- Deep understanding of Google’s Search Essentials, Core Web Vitals, and indexing algorithms.
- Experience with advanced SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics 4.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable business insights.
