Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for complex optimization and simulation problems.
- Collaborate closely with hardware physicists to optimize qubit coherence and develop advanced error mitigation protocols.
- Lead the development of hybrid quantum-classical software stacks designed for production environments.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum modules in high-fidelity simulated environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for quantum software engineering methodologies.
- Translate theoretical physics concepts into robust, production-ready software code.
- Contribute to the architectural roadmap ensuring scalability and future-proofing for 2026 and beyond.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong preference for experience in emerging or high-tech fields.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and at least one major quantum computing framework (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, or Amazon Braket).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and advanced optimization algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
