Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum circuitry for hybrid quantum-classical computing environments.
- Optimize algorithms for near-term quantum processors (NISQ devices) to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to define interface specifications for quantum processors.
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks and testing protocols to validate system reliability.
- Mentor junior architects and researchers in advanced quantum software engineering practices.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in quantum error correction and quantum cryptography.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, or a related STEM field with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- 5+ years of experience in systems architecture, preferably within high-performance computing or AI.
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for backend systems development.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced R&D environment.
