Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum circuits and algorithms for next-generation quantum hardware.
- Develop and maintain high-performance quantum software libraries and SDKs.
- Implement error mitigation and correction strategies for Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, hardware engineers, and data scientists.
- Conduct research on post-quantum cryptography and quantum machine learning models.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices in quantum software development.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil, or Pennylane).
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for high-performance computing.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity theory.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket, or Google Cirq).
- Proven track record of publishing research or implementing production-grade software in quantum domains.
