Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable quantum algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom Python frameworks.
- Optimize quantum circuits for noise reduction and fidelity improvement on NISQ devices.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate physical constraints into software requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide research directions within the quantum software group.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum simulations on classical supercomputers.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on algorithms and data structures.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Pennylane, or similar).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for distributed computing.
