Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable quantum algorithms tailored for machine learning applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, cryptographers, and software engineers to integrate quantum modules into existing AI pipelines.
- Optimize quantum circuit designs to maximize qubit coherence and reduce error rates.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and benchmarking of quantum systems against classical architectures.
- Stay at the forefront of quantum hardware advancements and translate them into software solutions.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Quantum Computing or Artificial Intelligence.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a strong background in Python, C++, or Rust.
- Hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics.
- Proven track record of publishing research or leading projects in quantum information science.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes R&D environment.
