We are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum AI Architect to lead our Research and Development division as we prepare for the computing paradigm shift of 2026. At Nebula Systems, we are building the infrastructure that powers the next generation of artificial intelligence. You will be at the forefront of integrating quantum processing units (QPUs) with deep neural networks to solve complex problems currently deemed impossible for classical computers.
What You Will Do:
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical quantum mechanics and practical software engineering. You will be responsible for architecting systems that leverage quantum supremacy to deliver unprecedented computational speed and accuracy in AI models.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms optimized for 2026-era hardware architectures.
- Lead the architectural roadmap for integrating QPUs into our cloud-based AI infrastructure.
- Mentor a team of junior researchers and data scientists specializing in quantum mechanics and machine learning.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum circuits to ensure stability, error correction, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical physics into deployable, production-grade software solutions.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or advanced AI development.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes R&D environment and stay ahead of rapid technological changes.
