Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Python and modern frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Architect and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure high performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and frontend developers.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Identify technical debt and refactor legacy code to improve maintainability and scalability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-launch support.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Deep knowledge of Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI) and asynchronous programming (asyncio).
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in production environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
