Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design and implement robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Python and modern cloud architectures.
- Code Quality: Write maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and SOLID principles.
- Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and optimize database performance, latency, and resource utilization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Testing: Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability.
- DevOps: Participate in CI/CD pipeline maintenance and deployment strategies to ensure seamless releases.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Frameworks: Deep knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks.
- Databases: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience deploying applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- System Design: Strong understanding of system design patterns, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mentor junior developers.
