The Role:
As the lead engineer for the 2026 project, you will oversee the transition from legacy architectures to next-gen cloud-native solutions. Your work will directly impact millions of users globally.
Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 Roadmap: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems designed to handle massive traffic loads and complex AI workloads by 2026.
- Lead Technical Strategy: Define the technical vision for the Horizon Initiative, including database scaling, microservices architecture, and real-time processing pipelines.
- Code Quality & Performance: Write high-performance, maintainable code and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure best practices across the engineering department.
- Innovation & Research: Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies (e.g., Edge Computing, Quantum-ready algorithms) and evaluate their applicability to our product suite.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal engineering role.
- Stack: Deep expertise in React, Node.js, Python, and Cloud Native technologies (AWS/GCP).
- Architecture: Proven track record of designing complex, large-scale distributed systems and high-availability platforms.
- AI/ML: Strong understanding of integrating Machine Learning models into production environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on solving ambiguous technical problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
