Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency signal processing algorithms for high-density neural recording systems.
- Develop and optimize deep learning models to decode neural activity into actionable digital commands.
- Collaborate with neuroscientists and data scientists to refine data acquisition protocols and improve signal-to-noise ratios.
- Lead the architectural design of real-time data pipelines ensuring scalability and security.
- Conduct rigorous testing on prototype hardware to validate interface stability and user safety.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in neurotechnology and implement cutting-edge research into production environments.
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, signal processing, or biomedical engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA for high-performance computing.
- Deep knowledge of neural network architectures (RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers) applied to time-series data.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and real-time embedded systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for ethical AI development.
