Responsibilities
- Design and Architect: Lead the architectural design of next-generation Neural Interface protocols, ensuring biocompatibility and high-fidelity data transmission.
- System Optimization: Oversee the optimization of signal processing algorithms to reduce neural latency and improve the user experience of brain-computer interaction.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with neuroscientists and bio-engineers to translate biological data into actionable software systems.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives exploring non-invasive BCI technologies, including fMRI, EEG, and future invasive sensor arrays.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous encryption and security protocols to protect sensitive neural data and ensure user privacy.
- Prototyping: Develop and validate high-fidelity prototypes for internal testing and potential commercial deployment by 2026.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically in AI, Machine Learning, or High-Performance Computing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA. Experience with signal processing libraries (SciPy, NumPy) and neural network frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
