Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030 horizon) and synthesize actionable insights through market research and data modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product development pipelines
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, TED-style talks) positioning the company as a future-tech authority
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
- Present to C-suite executives and board members on technology disruption scenarios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
