Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Produce executive-level strategic briefings on emerging technologies with potential 10x market impact
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future business challenges
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs in frontier tech domains
- Design and implement AI-powered trend forecasting systems using NLP and predictive analytics
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors, board members, and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through white papers and industry talks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, custom ML models)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and risk assessment frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology adoption strategies for 2020+ initiatives
