Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead strategic workshops with executive stakeholders to align innovation initiatives with long-term market disruption forecasts
- Produce quarterly Future State Briefings synthesizing AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence impacts
- Architect proof-of-concept prototypes for 2026-viable technologies using rapid prototyping methodologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups to accelerate adoption curves
- Present compelling future narratives to investors and board members to secure innovation funding
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics and trend interpretation methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing future-forward technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
