Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual 2026 strategic vision reports with data-driven forecasts and scenario-planning frameworks
- Design cross-functional innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder presentations to align leadership on future strategic priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and global innovation hubs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory developments affecting long-term technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools and scenario modeling
- Outstanding presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (articles, whitepapers, books)
- Experience working in fast-paced tech or Fortune 500 environments
