Innovate Future Labs is seeking a visionary Senior Futurist Strategist to lead our strategic planning for 2026 and beyond. You will be at the forefront of identifying emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts that will redefine industries. This role requires exceptional foresight, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies.
As a key member of our executive team, you will collaborate with C-suite leaders to develop long-term innovation roadmaps, conduct horizon-scanning research, and pioneer thought leadership initiatives. You'll leverage advanced data modeling, scenario planning, and stakeholder engagement to shape our organization's trajectory through 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and global megatrends to forecast disruptive opportunities for 2026 horizon
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and sustainability innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing initiatives
- Conduct horizon-scanning research using data modeling and scenario planning methodologies
- Present strategic insights to executive teams through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory impacts on future technology adoption
- Champion innovation culture by mentoring teams on future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Business, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy
- Proven track record of developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
