You'll leverage cutting-edge analytical tools and human-centered design principles to create compelling scenarios that guide investment decisions and product development.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks through executive briefings, scenario planning workshops, and immersive visualizations
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning emerging opportunities with corporate growth objectives
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to translate foresight into tangible innovation initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation hubs to maintain competitive foresight
- Author thought leadership content positioning HorizonShift as a future-shaping authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Experience working in high-growth tech environments or Fortune 500 innovation labs
