Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology landscape, identifying disruptive innovations and market opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI)
- Collaborate with product teams to align future vision with near-term development sprints
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for future technology validation
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 tech ecosystem predictions
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology forecasting or innovation strategy at Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful product launches
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong public speaking and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in technology or business publications
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in agile environments
