Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive frameworks for 2026 technological convergence scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging markets
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions (AR interfaces, neurotech interfaces)
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic impact across 5-year horizons
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary 'Future-Casting Methodology'
- Represent company at global innovation forums (Davos, CES, Web Summit)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year trend predictions
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning
- Proficiency with AI trend analysis tools (GPT-4, TrendHunter, Palantir)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Fluency in at least two additional languages (Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish preferred)
