Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop 5-10 year strategic scenarios and impact assessments for executive leadership
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market opportunities
- Present future-focused insights to C-suite and board stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports and predictive models for competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong background in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech strategy
- Experience with cross-industry ecosystem mapping and disruption analysis
