Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts relevant to 2026
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for product roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present trend briefings to C-suite and Board of Directors quarterly
- Oversee implementation of future-proofing initiatives across R&D and product teams
- Publish thought leadership papers on emerging technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotechnology convergence
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CSO, CFIP)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Published research or speaking engagements at major innovation forums
