Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, social, and economic trends to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize future-focused R&D initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work and technology convergence
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional future intelligence networks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio published in reputable industry journals or conference presentations
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic transformation
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
