Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Report' identifying 15+ emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design and lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on 5-year market evolution
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype 2026-relevant solutions (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Create strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to megatrends (climate resilience, neuro-interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Represent the company at global futures conferences and publish thought leadership in top-tier publications
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists while managing $5M annual innovation portfolio
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into billion-dollar business decisions
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI governance)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio of published foresight work
- Certification in Futures methodologies (e.g., CFS from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams across 3+ continents
