Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech)
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder presentations on future trends
- Build and maintain an innovation ecosystem with academic institutions and industry partners
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable business recommendations
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and critical analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong background in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published research or thought leadership on future trends preferred
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS, APF) highly desirable
