Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technological, economic, and sociocultural signals into actionable insights
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and executive briefings for board-level stakeholders
- Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive threats through quantitative/qualitative research
- Champion innovation culture by mentoring teams in adaptive thinking and future-proofing methodologies
- Partner with R&D to align long-term technology investments with market evolution
- Represent the organization at global futurism forums and industry thought leadership events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of AI, climate tech, and biotechnology convergence points
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic implementations
- Fluency in strategic modeling tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, Causal Mapping)
