Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for technological convergence (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Author thought leadership reports on future-of-work and societal transformation
- Mentor junior futurists and drive innovation culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major foresight projects with measurable impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and weak signal detection
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Proven ability to translate abstract futures into actionable business strategies
