Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports and innovation roadmaps for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives and R&D teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry think tanks to pioneer future-focused initiatives
- Oversee the implementation of innovation frameworks across product development and operational functions
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists while fostering a culture of future-readiness
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning, weak signal detection)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex future concepts into actionable strategies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile innovation environments
