Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Innovation Strategy roadmap through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to commercialize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable systems)
- Quantify future market opportunities through data modeling, forecasting, and competitive landscape analysis
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and translate insights into actionable business plans
- Drive organizational adoption of foresight methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists to build future-ready capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies or launching breakthrough products
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and sustainability transitions
- Exceptional data modeling and quantitative forecasting abilities
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future strategy implementations with measurable ROI
