Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics)
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to anticipate socio-economic shifts through 2030
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-ready solutions
- Present trend analysis to executive leadership and investor boards
- Build and curate a global network of futurists and domain experts
- Author white papers on disruptive forces reshaping industries
- Champion human-centered design in future technology development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-proofing initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF)
