Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-proofing into corporate strategy
- Conduct scenario planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on post-2025 market shifts
- Author thought leadership reports published in MIT Technology Review and similar platforms
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI on future-facing initiatives
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism
- Proven track record of successful technology commercialization with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation conferences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Strong network of relationships with VCs, research institutions, and tech pioneers
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-proofing initiatives
