Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-political shifts, and market disruptions to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future business models
- Author thought leadership publications and present trend analyses to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Design and implement horizon scanning processes to maintain competitive advantage
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into R&D pipelines
- Mentor junior strategists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published work in leading foresight or innovation publications
