Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed futurism into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning models for global technology adoption
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist lab with external partners and academic institutions
- Represent the company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and emerging tech assessment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Experience leading global teams across diverse cultural and technical contexts
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
