Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal paradigms impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and metaverse ecosystems
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions using rapid experimentation methodologies
- Establish and maintain global network of futurists, technologists, and behavioral economists
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists while championing ethical innovation principles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience facilitating C-level strategic planning workshops
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-proofed initiatives implemented at scale
