Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype futuristic technologies with commercial viability
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across 12 emerging tech verticals
- Present strategic briefings to board members and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive organizational adoption of agile futurism methodologies
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFM) preferred
