Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and validate emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework using scenario planning, trend analysis, and Delphi methods
- Translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities and risks
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations for executive/board audiences
- Oversee pilot initiatives for emerging technologies with potential 2026 market impact
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, MBA, or equivalent technical field
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills using tools like Tableau and Miro
- Deep understanding of global megatrends and geopolitical implications for business
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or CFTE) preferred
