Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, market shifts, and sociocultural patterns to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for emerging tech adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and thought leaders
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor boards
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or conferences
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and trend analysis platforms
