Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and R&D teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology domains
- Exceptional facilitation skills with experience leading executive workshops
- Published author or speaker at major innovation conferences (TED, Singularity, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or roadmap development
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in futures research methodologies
