- Design strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive futures and quantify risks/opportunities
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder communications on future implications
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate trend analysis into product development pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into successful business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and predictive analytics platforms
