Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum computing and decentralized systems
- Author high-impact thought leadership positioning Horizon Labs as the authority on emerging tech paradigms
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for continuous intelligence gathering
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through compelling innovation proposals and stakeholder presentations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented technology roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Deep expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year horizon strategy implementation
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CSF, WFS) preferred
