Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the technical roadmap for the 2026 Vision Project, integrating AI, quantum computing, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype breakthrough technologies with 5+ year industry impact
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies for strategic integration
- Develop patent-pending solutions in human augmentation and autonomous systems
- Present findings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners to secure funding and strategic alignment
- Mentor junior engineers in future-focused methodologies and ethical tech development
- Collaborate with academic institutions to publish research in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field with 10+ years of R&D experience
- Proven track record of shipping transformative products (3+ IPO-level exits or equivalent impact)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic engineering, or synthetic biology
- Published research in Nature, Science, or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in government or private R&D funding
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
